Adidas Originals NFT – The FOCUS and Ambition Behind the $60 Million Sellout

For the first time in history, Adidas Originals’ newly launched NFT Compilation has entered the top 50 collections by volume with over $60 million in sales in just 18 days. The highly sought-after collection was designed to be a pioneer of innovation and creativity for Adidas Originals. Since then, the NFT collection has seen significant success, rising to rank 50 in the NFT market. As of today, the total sales of the NFT collection composed by Adidas have been above 19000 (source dune).

The German multinational sneaker and sportswear corporation Adidas launched its Adidas Originals non-fungible token (NFT) collection less than 20 days ago, and since then, the NFT collection has rapidly risen to rank No. 50 in terms of sales.

Adidas announced its participation in the metaverse at the end of November 2021, saying it was “thrilled” about it. Adidas partnered with Coinbase and bought land in The Sandbox at the end of November 2021, according to reports. Adidas linked up with the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT project in late December.

Adidas is one of the first well-known firms and business entities to appear on top 50 NFT collections in terms of sales. There have also been a lot of new opportunities to develop smart property on the market. Many startups are now selling NFTs in anticipation of higher demand. An example is BAYC.
